On February 25th, we hosted our most stacked lineup yet. Direct from Atlanta, we had Tuamie, fresh off his recent releases with Street Corner Music and Grand Garden. We also celebrated the release of AshTreJinkins' Zone of The Enders album with a live performance. We also had Fat Albert Einstein, who played a dubplate set of his recent release 2U4U, a collection of J. Dilla covers all performed by himself on the drums, organ, and melodica. Also with us from Austin, Texas was the Insect Records bossman Butcher Bear. He has a new EP out called Don't Save Yourself, which follows very closely on the heels of a recent album. Last, but most certainly not least, we had Elos, one of LA's hometown heroes of the beat scene. He's a Low End veteran, he's been Team Supreme since day one, and we were celebrating the release of his newest album, Limit Break, on Dome of Doom.
Of course, as always, we had our residents House Shoes, Kone, Luis, Maria, and your host The Koreatown Oddity. Also, Novation was in the building with a station full of their newest gear for folks to jam out on. The beer was provided by Anchor Brewing and everyone got a chance to try one of their brand-new brews, for free! Boo's Philly came through like they always do with the cheesesteaks. Sorry if you missed out.
Perhaps our finest product yet, we are pleased to present Zone of the Enders on lime green cassette, fit snugly into custom slate grey cardstock sleeves, letterpressed and custom CAD-cut, with a double-sided insert card.
